The "Skinny" on Mcnabb

The Washington Redskins just received quarterback Donovan McNabb via trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, who in return received some duct tape and a few drywall nails (or 2nd/3rd draft options this and next year). The greatest player to ever sport an Eagle uniform just joined a divisional opponent, of whom the Eagles play and will now lose to, twice each year.
Who was the not so mastermind behind this trade? And what is with this city of " Brotherly Ignorance"? Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick combined doesn't equal the skill or leadership Donovan has been bringing to the table since his days at Syracuse.

It all started with booing, when McNabb was drafted by the Eagles, over fan favorite running back Ricky Williams (who is now the backup in Miami). The majority of Philly fans always hated McNabb, despite their team being instantly transformed into playoff contenders the moment they signed him. Year after year they were given this opportunity to win and year after year, they did. Unfortunately, they never won the Super Bowl with McNabb, but their chances have decreased considerably, now that Kevin Kolb is their starter. Donovan, who holds every record in career quarterback statistical categories for the Eagles, was given up on, before he was ever given a chance. The fans wanted change and sadly for them, they have got what they wished for. To go from, a nearly guaranteed winning season each year, to hopes of winning with someone who looks good in practice and had two decent games is just mind boggling.

What will the Eagles and their foolish fans do now? Are they going to boo the guy they have been in such dire (sarcasm) need of? Will the team go back and forth on who is starting each week once the go to guy doesn't perform the way they had hoped? I can almost positively say what the team wont do. They WONT win a Super Bowl in the next 5 years. They will be lucky to make the playoffs. Also, they WONT win against the Redskins, as long as McNabb is playing in Washington. Donovan is too good to lose to the Eagles, again. His only loss to the Eagles was joining them.
